This is pretty typical of the DNC. They just cannot seem to get the facts straight. It's definitely amusing, but the sad part is that so many of their base believes the nonsense they put out. In this case they posted an inflation chart on their X account showing price increases in the last year for basics such as groceries. Unfortunately for them the chart also included the last several years which covers the entire Biden administration under which we had record inflation. Several news sites covered the responses the DNC received to their X account, including Fox News and the NY Post.
Its amusing, but also needs to be remembered because they will stop at nothing to distort the facts and present their failures as the failure of someone else. So I wanted a permanent record of the chart and the story on this site. Here is the image they posted to show how bad the economy under the first 7 months of the Trump administration is that clearly shows that inflation was far worse under Biden.
In addition, the Bureau of Labor Statistics regularly tracks the Consumer Price Index. This is a shot of everything except food and energy in January of every year since 2015.
